Dear Stefan et al,
Regarding risk, may I recommend "Learning about Risk"
published by the Canadian Institute of Chartered
Accountants. (Canada is principles based too and
trying to hold on to that in the face of US pressure).
It talks about seven models of risk - leadership
choices, operational and control choices, strategic
choices, crisis choices, resiliance, the decision to
be aware and intuition. (my paper on it is on my
website www.allennaleonard.com. It criticises the way
Sarbanes Oxley has been implemented and its focus on
the details rather than big picture and relates the
seven models to the VSM.)
All the best,
