An IOS upgrade is required on ly-enet-sw1, a Cisco 3750 that is part of the
direct connection to LYIT and NIRAN. This will take down this connection.
Complete loss of connection to LYIT, traffic to and from NIRAN will reroute
via the JANET link with increased latency. The outage should last for ~5
minutes, but a one hour window is being given.
20070216 16:13 BN Confirmed outage with LYIT. New IOS has been obtained
and will be uploaded prior to the reload. BT Ireland will be performing
20070221 12:41 BN IOS upgrade did not go as planned, so this has been
rescheduled to between 08:00 - 09:00 on the morning of Thursday 22nd
February. A ~5 minute outage is expected to both LYIT and on the NIRAN
circuit as previously indicated.
