Mary Doyle
Mary Doyle is the Librarian of the Department of Agriculture and Food and
has a strong interest in copyright and licensing issues. She has presented
several courses on copyright in Ireland in recent years.
Joseph Donnelly
Joseph Donnelly is currently Librarian in the Judges' Library, serving the
judiciary and the staff of the Courts Service. He is on the Executive Board
of the Library Association of Ireland (LAI), is a member of the British &
Irish Association of Law Librarians (BIALL), and plays an active role in the
Government Libraries Section of the LAI. He has given talks on a number of
areas to groups of LIS professionals and others, and has given many training
sessions on Copyright Law for Librarians in Ireland. When the Copyright Bill
1999 was circulated for comment, he was one of a group of librarians who met
with the Dept of Enterprise Trade & Employment to discuss possible
amendments (most of which were later incorporated into the Copyright &
Related Rights Act 2000) and in 2006 he was part of a delegation that met
the Department concerning proposed legislation on Public Lending Right
