If mmemoryserves mne right, fiddler Chris Leslie did a nice version of it
whith Whippersnapper - I have it on a tape from a BBC Folk on 2 programme
-soemwhere in a box.........

Close.... but no cigar this time :-) It's on the Long Grazing Acre, indeed
sung by Tommy (NOT Timmy) O'Sullivan. indeed suggests a Famine connection,
and also gives 4 verses for the song instead of the 3 usually given.
