During a maintenance window from 01:00 to 02:00 on 25/8/04, INEX plan to
replace one of their switches as part of an upgrade plan.
HEAnet maintain connections to two INEX switches so long term disruption is
not expected. Some loss of connectivity to peers that do not do this and a
brief interruption (sub 1 min) when the old switch is removed from the LAN
is expected. All routes are available via General Internet service in the
case of extended outages.

20040830 10:57 AH INEX confirm maintenance was completed sucessfully. The
maintenance resulted in an estimated ~20-30 seconds interruption per INEX
member connection, in addition to BGP session time. HEAnet maintain dual
peerings at INEX where possible and those on the alternative switch were
