I'm looking for some suggestions for a course I'm teaching this fall, an
undergraduate survey of British and Irish history to 1688.
I'm trying to find something to cover the Ulster Plantation in the 17th
c.--preferably a primary source, though a good secondary source would work
I originally planned on using Philip Robinson's, The Plantation of Ulster, but
the Ulster Historical Foundation does not appear to have a supplier in the US
(if anyone knows something different about this or knows someone at the
foundation, please let me know).
Since this is for undergrads, it needs (1) to be in print; (2) not be too long
(optimal length is 250-300 pp.) and (3) to be a reasonably easy read.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it!
