Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It gives me great pleasure to unveil a new initiative in African higher
education as part of our continued effort and commitment to address the
complex issues that grapple the development of postsecondary
institutions on the continent. As research and publishing on the
continent's postsecondary institutions move in full gears, the need for
such an initiative has become a necessity--and hence the launching of
such an international forum.
International Network for Higher Education in Africa (INHEA), as it is
known, will be dedicated to serve the growing community of researchers,
policy makers, development specialists, funding institutions,
administrators, and students. We hope that INHEA will become a central
forum for keeping track of information, up-to-date data, and relevant
discussions in higher education in Africa.
We look very much forward to receiving your constructive comments and
ideas as we continue to enrich the Network. The network can be accessed
