Those of you who, against their better judgement, have been on this
List for a few years will undoubtedly recall - perhaps with strangely
mixed feelings - the Zouki Holiday Haiku posted a few Christmases
back. Well, in response to requests too numerous and/or desperate
to detail here, here's another batch fresh from the hibachi!

Explain please to kids:
Reindeer on Nature Channel
Not one with red nose

Vinnie plays Santa
All goes well until child asks
- Garlic at North Pole?

Sorry, says banker
- Although batteries aren't cheap
Home loan not approved

Huge storm roars up coast
Be up here on Christmas Eve!
- Only rain, dammit

Grandma Pearl's fruitcake
On display in museum
Of state Dental School

Zoo next door takes note:
Festive sounds soothe pinnipeds!
Mall's Yule bells chill seals!

Teen Mass, Christmas Eve:
Five guitars, keyboard, bass, drums
Not-so-silent night

Academic guess
Eight billion square miles of trees
- Fifty bucks for THAT?

Cold December night
Manger scene bright on church lawn
Real hope for daft world

Zouki, failed poet
Still extends sincere wish for
Merriest Christmas
(and Happy New Year!)
