The router landing Dublin ATM and Gigabit Ethernet clients experienced a
Loss of connectivity to clients connected to Dublin ATM and Gigabit
Ethernet access router. Some clients will reroute via backup PVCs where

HEAnet are investigating and will continue to monitor to ensure all sites
20031204 10:40 AH Initially, the router did not recover cleanly. All links
came up but no traffic was routed. This required an additional reboot to
resolve at 10:26.

Mailed Lancomms with information on the reboot, Lancomms have indicated
that there may be an IOS bug which relates to power supply failures.
Awaiting further update and fix.
20031210 12:08 RK A bug has been identified with the IOS running on the
router mantove that will trigger a reboot if the active RP is in slot two
and the power is reset on one of the PSUs. An IOS upgrade is being
considered but for now this ticket is being closed as the bug has been
