I've been trying to help someone (who I warned about the lack of
aesthetics therein and the lack of MS knowledge herein). Personally,
I use Quark as my word processor. I'm not sure that's any less
demented....but my correspondence looks nicer!
But it sure is good to know how to set Word to see kerning. This
seems to be my problem-of-the-year: programs that don't see/use
