The natural colour of butter being closer to white than glaring
daffodil yellow, I'd be careful about claiming reality for very yellow
As famed philosopher Yogi Berra used to say, "When you come to a fork in the
road, pick it up!"
Well, I don't know what your cows eat over THERE, but our California cows
(widely known to be the most contented in the world) definitely produce rich
butterfat, which makes nice, yellow butter. The raw milk I used to purchase
from the dairy by the gallon was nearly 1/3 heavy cream, and that made
lovely butter. That which is homemade is much more colourful than that
purchased in the store. Perhaps Martin's is of the supermarket variety?
