Hardly correct - scientific analysis can tell us lots about these
monuments - such as where they were actually from, down to the quarry a lot
of the time. It can tell us about their alignment, what the stars were like
in the sky at the time. It can tell us a fair bit about the development of
sites - whether more stones were added later. In fact it can tell us masses
but we still have masses to learn and it can't answer some of the questions
which we would like to have answered.
