The Rawlinson Genealogies has the following statement:
"Éber uero filius h-Ír qui ante omnes Scottos Campum Lini habuit et quintam
partem Hiberniae tenuit."
which I interpret to mean, "Eber the son of Ir, who before anybody else
inhabited Scottos Campum Lini, spread out over a fifth part of Ireland". Is
this a reference to Magh Line in Ireland, or could it be a reference the
lands surrounding Loch Linne in Scotland? If it is Magh Line in Ireland,
can that be located on modern maps?
