Sorry for the basic nature of this question, I'm not a programmer.
Can I use XSLT to "create" files? I want to write an XSLT script that takes
my XML book, and generates one XHTML file for every <section>, so the
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
would give rise to 4 files.
Do I have to use something else (e.g. Java) to create the files, and then
populate them with the script, or can it all be done in XSLT? Has anyone an
example of such an application that I could look at? As a non-programmer,
I'm particularly concerned about the 'boundaries' between the XSLT and the
'programming' part of the app. Thanks for any and all help.
