Yes, Curtis, I am originally from Texas. Working in the
kitchen, my Aunt Sadie would say, "I prized it open." I would
reply, "Aunt, don't you mean 'preyed'?
She paid me no mind.
I was about 12, too. Hard to get attention at that age.
