The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of

invites applications for a position of a

Professor (C3) of Plant Sciences
in the Department of Botany

The successful candidate should have a proven track record of research
and international recognition in the field of ecology/organismic
biology. Preference will be given to candidates whose research focus is
in Aquatic Ecology (limnic systems). The successful candidate is
expected to participate fully in the research and teaching programs of
the Department and to collaborate with ecology-oriented research groups
in other departments.
Requirements for this tenured position are a Ph.D. in Biology, a
Habilitation (in Plant Sciences) or an equivalent achievement (several
years of post-doctoral training and excellence in research and
