Dear fellow phycologists,

I am looking for data related to the numbers of carpospores produced per
fertilization in red algae, number of mitotic divisions in the carposporphyte
and/ or proportion of carposporophyte tissue which is allocated to spores. I
haven't found many examples in the literature. I suspect these things vary
widely from species to species.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Janet Kübler
