Dear Listmembers,

I was wondering whether anyone out there has a method to extract protein
from cyanobacteria for use within SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis and
proteomics studies. On looking through the literature it appears that very
few methods have been published and I was wondering whether anyone has a
tried and true method for the extraction of the complete protein
composition of both environmental and culture collection strains of marine
or freshwater cyanobacteria.
Any methods, references, etc... that anyone can recommend would be greatly
appreciated,

Thanks for your help in advance,
