Dear Dorothy,

I am curious about the Environmentally Superior Products initiative. Is there going to be a report about this project?

I was wondering how many SMEs, and what type of SMEs, have taken part in this initiative? I was also wondering how SMEs find out about and become involved in this initiative, is it through industry associations or existing contact with enterprise Ireland or are there other ways aswell? And why do you think they became involved, I mean what has been the main percieved benifit by SMEs? Also what has been the result of their participation, what benifits and difficulties did they actually have? Did Small enterprises get involved too or was it mainly medium sized ones?

For my MSc. I did a short, 4 month, study on SMEs and made a report called: 'Managing the Chemical Accident Risks of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises' It might be interesting for you, so If you would like a copy then let me know.

Regards,

Richard Collins
