>WOULD SEAMUS CONNOLLY IN BOSTON BE A SOURCE TO TRY .
Sure Seamus Connolly would be one to try, but Mick Moloney is the man you'd
want to come around to before too long. He's spent a lifetime researching
this stuff. Not sure exactly where to reach Mick these days. He lives in
Philadelphia, but I think he may be teaching at NYU at the moment. If you
can reach Seamus Connolly, he may be able to point you toward Mick. Or take
one of Mick's folklore tours of Ireland - I hear he pops in on them every
once in a while. :->
You could also try finding a copy of Mick's doctoral dissertation at the
University of Pennsylvania. It should be available via interlibrary loan or
microfilm from any university library that might be near you.
Hope this helps.
