Jim, your story has become rather old news around this area. I have been
playing at St. Pat events for a few years now where the dancers not only
dance to their own tapes, but to music of the "Lord of the Pants"
persuasion--with all the bass and percussion and what not, you can't even
tell if there is a tune. All that was missing was the fog machine... It's a
pity that Irish dance schools nowadays think that they can only perform in
front of people with that kind of accompaniment (in fact it makes my blood
boil, and I'm not even Irish...)
