Bringing up HEAnet peering with GEANT.
Improved access to academic sites in Europe and GEANT peers
in US & Japan.
Both sites brought up BGP; HEAnet removes filters from session.
Outbound traffic is balancing as appropriate between GEANT and
TEN-155 but inbound traffic still uses TEN-155. GEANT NOC are

GEANT NOC have isolated this to a communities problem as suspected
and hope to have the problem solved this afternoon.

Traffic starts flowing bidirectionally at 14:00 UTC, GEANT NOC
confirm that the problem is solved. Some minor adjustments needed to
ensure optimal routing of outbound traffic via GEANT instead of
TEN-155; ticket remains open as we follow this up.

TEN-155 is being switched off at the weekend and as part of a
controlled shutdown their NOC plans to shut down our connection
on Wednesday 28th, to be brought back in an emergency. Resilient
parts of our connection to GEANT are still awaited.
