1) XML-DBMS is the only tool I am aware of that can handle mixed content
2) The above XML is usually bad design. Unless this is a simplified case
of something much different, there is no reason to use mixed content
here. Instead, you should place the name in a child element:
or an attribute:
This is *much* easier to process.
