Does the manual cover doing this? The FOG manual is awful, Moye's
book great in terms of design, but where to learn more technical
stuff? Someone told me to get a job somewhere where they would train
me (got any open positions there, David?). Is there any other means?
An acquaintance who once worked hinting fonts once told me I never
have to learn to hint....is this true? Or simply an admonition that
it was just okay to stay a designer? I know hinting my irregular
fonts is somewhat futile, but it seems it would be valuable in more
regular type designs.....
