Speaking of Ocean Sans, does anyone know how I could get in touch with the
designer Ong Chong Wah?
Is there anyone here from Singapore? The recent facelift to the Rapid
transit system visual identity bugs me - It is permissible and OK to use
Ocean Sans as a corporate typeface (and I presume Chong Wah is a
Singaporean?), it is a different thing altogether to snip off pieces here
and there from Ocean sans and call that a "new corporate typeface". Here's
the URL - not very clear, but you will get an idea if you look carefully at
the caps.

Somehow, I am just uneasy about people cutting off parts from an existing
typeface - package it in a cool/hip fashion and sell them off (via a brand
consultancy's commission) as a new typeface.
Just my thoughts.
