It is a real tune "name". Hauke (lister), where are you? He has the record. I have an MP3 of this lilting tune, but no ABCs or dots.

>>I've been trying to find the music, preferably notation, though ABC's a start, on a tune called "Reel a Bouche". I suspect it's French Canadian, Cape Breton, but have been unable to track it down on the Net. I also find myself wondering if it's a generic term. My source is the two versions of it on the Celtic Mouth Music CD.<<

Joel replied:
>>>I would guess that you're right in thinking that the tune (or the tunes) are French Canadian, as the name simply means 'mouth-music reel'. Is it possible that those two versions are really different tunes using that catch-all name? In any event, this will be hard to come by without having the sound of the tune(s) handy. I hope that somebody will have both the CD and the knowledge to help you.<<<
