xmldom is a Microsoft (IE 5+ WINDOWS ONLY) way of storing the XML
into a Document Object Model.

Netscape 6 uses DOM, but not the same one.

Try using this code:

                /* Create an XML parser object. */
          if (document.implementation &&
document.implementation.createDocument) {
                        xmlDocument =
document.implementation.createDocument("", "", null);
                }
          else if (window.ActiveXObject) {
                        xmlDocument = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLDOM");
                        /* Don't proceed until the entire document has been parsed */
                        xmlDocument.async = false;
                }
          else {
                        alert('Your browser can\'t handle this script');
                        return;
                }

Similar code, so check the page!
