I'm new to this list and I've been trying to wrap my mind around the concept
of XML and what it can be used for. I work for an organization which
maintains a large number of job descriptions and I thought XML might provide
a way for us to exchange data with other organizations who also use XML.
I'm experimenting with creating an XML job description, using an XSL
stylesheet to control the formatting. It looks fine in IE5 but the
stylesheet isn't being applied in Mozilla version .9.
It was my understanding that Mozilla had XML support. Does anyone use
Mozilla to view their XML documents? Is there some known issue as to why
IE5 and Mozilla display XML differently? I don't want to write anything
specifically tailored for Internet Explorer, I'd like my documents to be
usable with any software that reasonably supports the standards.
I know this may sound like more of a Mozilla question than an XML question,
but I need to be able to create a practical example of an XML document
before I can fully understand it. Also, I would expect the people on this
list to be more familiar with this issue than anyone else. Thanks for any
