Good to meet you Rob! I'm a newbie too!
MSXML is bundled with IE ... but not the "right" version. For reasons
deeply enmeshed in the Microsoft strategic marketing plan, IE comes with a
previous version which does not support the W3C recommendations (in fairness
to Microsoft, the previous version did support what they thought would be
the recommendation at the time it was released). You have to download
Version 3.0 and, if you want it to be the default (most people do) you also
have to run another program to do that. Everything (welll ... except SP1
... is on the MSDN site).

Subject: MSXML processor
I'm a newbie here. Is the MSXML processor a standalone piece of
software or is it incorporated/bundled in another MS software product?
Thanks in advance.
