The thing is, because of the nature of Graffiti,
such a contest would have to be "live": you'd need
to measure speed and accuracy*, not appearance: that
would be irrelevant in the case of Graffiti. Note that
you can't even see the letters when you're writing them!
* So I guess a Graffiti contest is more like a typing
contest than a handwriting one. Is there a typing
contest association? :-) Maybe there should be a
Graffiti association, and they could do contests?
That said, it might be interesting to try to encourage
aesthetically pleasing Graffiti forms (even though the
recognition algorithm doesn't care), since humans like
pretty things, *and* I've heard that some people
actually write in the Palm alphabet in "real life".
