This is interesting! Could you give me references to where this idea
can be found in texts, or articles about it? It reminds me of a
passage in the Nauigatio Sancti Brendani Abbatis where Brendan
and his men land on an island full of birds (chapter 11 of Selmer's
edition). One of the birds tells Brendan that they (the birds) are
angels who fell together with Lucifer though not siding with him.
