UL access via backbone down. All traffic with UL going over
2Mbps long haul leased line at very reduced performance. All
Limerick PoP equipment working, as are UL access routers.
Connectivity with UL at seriously reduced level.
Report trunk DPL 340042 to Eircom, they issue ticket #1033.
UL traffic routing over backbone since 20:55. Ticket will remain
open until report received.

Eircom have been contacted, and they said that the problem has
been passed to their Limerick Crew who will update us on the
problem later today.
20000418 07:40 Eircom say fault is now with their Galway crew.
20000418 17:05 The line now appears to be up and running again but
this ticket shall remain open until this is confirmed by Eircom.

Eircom were unable to identify any reason for this outage. They
carried out a number of tests, all of which proved to be clear. They
then closed the ticket without any explanation for this outage. Ticket closed.
