Dear All,

There appears to be two definitions of what double and single means with
reference to jigs, and for that matter reels. Both of the tutor books I
have, Cotter and Clarke define it as a structural difference - all the
sections are played only once through in a single jig or reel. However, a
quick reference to O'Neills will show a collection of repeat marks in the
single jig section.
Just shows that just when you think you've got the tradition nailed
down........
