Subject: Font to paths

TEXT/PLAIN (14 lines)

When you convert a font character to a pathway (in FreeHand or
Illustrator), does the path show all the Bezier or quadratic points in the
original font character. If you open a Big Name font, say an Adobe or Agfa
font, in Fontographer, does Fontographer show all the original points?

Or does the conversion include some kind of approximating?
