Supplementing John Moulden's reply to this query; a version of the song
appears on Topic TSCD 518D; Joe Heaney, The Road From Connemara. It also
appears in the transcription of an interview between Heaney and Ewan MacColl,
which was published in Musical Traditions http:/mustrad.org.uk .

Also, Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger collected a fragment with that title,
which might be related. It's a bit too short to tell. The fragment is in a
History Workshop Occasional Pamphlet called Shellback: Reminiscences of Ben
Bright, Mariner. Recorded and Edited by Ewan MacColl and Peggy Seeger. No
other bibliographical data.

Cheers,

Fred McCormick.
