The movement-praxis list, based in NUI Maynooth's MA in Community
Education, Equality and Social Activism, is dedicated to
information and discussion about all aspects of social movement
education, training, theory and practice as well as community and
popular education more broadly. It is open to anyone who is
working in the field as a social movement practitioner,
researcher or educator.
Participants are expected to respect the diversity of the list,
including the diversity of opinions and movement commitments it
represents: the list is not a forum for simple political debate
or recruitment. Participants and moderators alike are responsible
for maintaining the focus of the list and developing a community
of reflective practice among those active, studying, researching
and teaching in the area.
